Wokingham Borough Council's Integrated Early Help Service is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Help Worker to join our team.
As an Early Help Worker, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the well-being of children aged 0 to 18 years. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, collaborating with various support services, and facilitating 'Team Around the Family' meetings to ensure positive outcomes for families.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough 'whole family' Early Help Assessments to identify needs and risks.
- Collaborate effectively with a range of support services to develop tailored intervention plans.
- Organize and chair 'Team Around the Family' meetings, bringing together key stakeholders to work collaboratively towards shared goals.
- Demonstrate inclusivity and sensitivity when working with diverse families and communities.
- Proven experience working with children and families in a professional setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively manage complex cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and foster trust with families.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families.
- A full driving license is essential for this role.
