We are seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join our team at New Appointment Group Careers, based on site in Ramsgate. As the first point of contact for all employee-related issues and external partners, you will play a critical role in managing and resolving complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievances, sickness absence management, and recruitment.

This is a Monday to Friday role, working 8am - 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break. You will be responsible for managing all HR employee relations, investigations, grievances, and disciplinaries, providing up-to-date advice to employees on Employment Law and HR policies, handling the full cycle recruitment process, and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, managers, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievances, and sickness absence management.
  • Provide expert advice to employees on Employment Law and HR policies.
  • Handle the full cycle recruitment process, from initial application to onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee data, including contracts, offer terms of employment, and employee changes.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new and departing employees.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification in HR or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a HR work environment, with a strong understanding of Employment Law and HR policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, managers, and external partners.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
