Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to healthcare professionals, ensuring efficient patient flow and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment within the clinic.
  • Incorporate clinic support, patient care, and front and back of house services to deliver a seamless patient experience.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, maintain meticulous documentation, and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Promote an excellent patient experience in a private care setting with attention to detail.
  • Work with key stakeholders, such as Consultants, to ensure the calm and effective running of the service on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements:

  • Certification as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is preferred.
  • Independent sector/Private Patient experience.
  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant in an outpatient setting is desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and outpatient procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Computer skills.
  • Highly motivated and forward-thinking.
