Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and academically accomplished Graduate to join our team as an Academic Mentor - Graduate. This is a Long-Term, Full-Time position that offers a unique opportunity to work with students across Key Stages 3-5, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Class Teachers to deliver engaging lessons and support students in their chosen subject area.
  • Work with students who require additional support, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Help students prepare for and excel in exams, fostering a growth mindset and promoting academic resilience.
  • Contribute to a dynamic and inclusive school environment, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Requirements
  • A strong academic record, including a 2:1 or 1st Class degree.
  • Previous experience working with children, such as tutoring, teaching assistant, or learning support assistant roles.
  • A genuine passion for your chosen subject area and a desire to work in a school environment.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the school and its students.
