Interface Manager

We are seeking an experienced Interface Manager to join our team at AmcoGiffen. As an Interface Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our rail infrastructure projects in Wales.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the requirements for land access, environmental consents, third-party communications, and ensuring compliance with environmental, ecological, and statutory authority and local authority consents throughout the CP7 Structures framework in Wales.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on the timely identification of consent requirements and external interfaces to ensure work can be undertaken as planned, on time, and on budget.
- Interfacing project requirements include FRAP, CAR, Ordinary Water Course Consents, Marine Licences, Ecological Consents, Listed Building Consent, Scheduled Monument, World Heritage, Conservation Area, Tree Preservation Orders, Waste Permitting, S61 Noise Applications, and Works Licences.
- Develop good relationships with project teams, regulators, clients, and the SHEQ team to obtain and verify project documentation, coordinate meetings, and provide advice on best practice.
- Maintain and update the interface tracker process to demonstrate and report on progress to the business.
- Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of relevant legislation, interface points procedures, site arrangements, standards, and best practice.
- Previous experience in project management, dealing with local authorities consenting departments, consenting bodies, third parties in a rail and/or civil engineering project environment, or experience working in the consenting division of a local authority, land agent, or environmental regulator.
- Experience working in civil engineering project environments (ideally within rail).
- Maintaining good communications with project stakeholders and support functions, particularly the SHEQ team.
