Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing processes and standards for identifying, assessing, mitigating, and controlling environmental risks, such as pollution, emissions, waste, and noise. You will also be responsible for investigating environmental incidents, implementing remedial measures, and offering expert advice and direction to operational staff.

In addition, you will be responsible for controlling environmental licenses and consents, sustaining the ISO14001 standard and the corporate EMS system, and facilitating the creation and enactment of anti-pollution initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in environmental science or a related field or have equivalent industry experience. You should also be a member of IEMA or a similar organization and have a solid understanding of environmental legal requirements and pollution prevention.

You will possess strong communication and influencing abilities, along with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
