Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our Children's Eating Disorder Service (CEDS) in Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to contribute to clinical and system change in the South West.

About the Role

As a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Lead, you will provide clinical leadership to other psychologists and the wider multi-disciplinary team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality psychologically informed support to young people and their families, working closely with CAMHS and partner agencies across the South West.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide highly specialist psychological assessments and interventions for clients with complex eating disorders and eating-related difficulties.
  • Develop and deliver CEDS teaching programmes, working closely with colleagues across agencies.
  • Liaise and work with other professionals to ensure effective implementation of best practice and service development.
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary case discussions and planning meetings, providing expertise and advice on psychological aspects of care.
  • Provide a direct specialist service for service users presenting with eating disorders and/or eating issues, and their families.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist with:

Doctoral Clinical Psychology qualification or equivalent.Eligibility for Chartered Clinical Psychologist status.Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).Experience of working with clients with complex presentations within CAMHS or similar services.Experience of teaching, training, and/or professional and clinical supervision.Experience of supporting junior qualified and non-qualified staff members.What We Offer
