Job Title: Graduate English Teaching Assistant

Salary: Up to £520 per week

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Graduate English Teaching Assistant to join our team at Stockport Secondary School. As a Graduate English Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic progress of our students, particularly in the area of English language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in the classroom to deliver engaging and effective lessons
  • Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional help with English language skills
  • Help students regain their confidence and catch up on essential English skills
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in English or a related field from a Top 30 university
  • Have a strong passion for teaching and supporting students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
