Job Title: Senior Chartered Development Surveyor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Chartered Development Surveyor to join our team at the Norse Group. As a key member of our planning and development team, you will play a critical role in identifying, promoting, and delivering the development potential of surplus and potentially surplus assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead public consultation exercises and draft planning applications, design and access statements, and feasibility reports.
  • Represent clients at planning committee meetings and appeals, negotiating and agreeing S. Agreements.
  • Work independently or as part of a large multi-disciplinary team, with minimal support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans.

Requirements:

  • Professional Chartered membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Real Estates discipline.
  • At least 5 years of PQE in a similar role and industry.
  • Experience in planning and development surveying, including producing viability appraisals.
  • Knowledge of relevant planning legislation and familiarity with the Local Plans for the region.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to engage and negotiate with all levels of internal and external parties.
