Project Insight

The Hinkley Point C project marks a significant advancement in the UK's energy landscape, being the first new nuclear facility in over two decades. This initiative aims to deliver sustainable energy to approximately 6 million households, generating thousands of employment opportunities and fostering economic growth across the nation.

Key Responsibilities

As a HVAC Project Engineer, your primary duties will include:
  • Assisting the work pack Lead in the daily creation of Construction work packs and relevant documentation.
  • Ensuring that work packs and associated documentation adhere to the established timeline.
  • Possessing a thorough understanding of HVAC design discipline drawings.
  • Providing expert HVAC guidance to the MEH Alliance supervision team.
  • Developing intricate method statements in line with MEH protocols and client specifications.
  • Conducting task-based risk assessments in accordance with MEH Alliance procedures.
  • Identifying the need for specialized tools and materials related to the tasks outlined in the work packs.
  • Recognizing support and temporary works requirements linked to the tasks specified in the work packs.
Candidate Profile

We are seeking individuals who possess:
  • A background in mechanical or HVAC engineering.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications, such as an HNC.
  • A solid understanding of engineering standards.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification is preferred.
  • CCNSG Safety Passport.
  • The capability to achieve a high-level security clearance.
