Join Our Team as a Statutory and Tax Reporting Manager

As a Statutory and Tax Reporting Manager, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Head of BSO Finance, primarily focusing on the preparation of statutory accounts, local legal requirements, and tax compliance for Lonza entities in France and across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure tax compliance and implement tax/transfer pricing strategy locally under guidance from the group tax team.
  • Manage statutory accounting and compliance, including IFRS to local GAAP reconciliations, with support from external providers.
  • Support corporate projects, such as CIR/grants/simplification/pension matters/dividend repatriation.
  • Liaise with external providers, including external auditors, banks, and tax authorities.
Requirements:
  • Graduate or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Preferred area of study: Business Studies/Accountancy.
  • Minimum 5 years accounting experience with some tax experience (preferably related to France).
  • Fully Qualified ACA or ACCA or equivalent tax qualification.
  • Financial accounting, including IFRS/SAP/HFM, tax accounting, and knowledge of European (ideally French) tax legislation.
  • Business-level French and English language is a must.
  • Experience with SAP and HFM preferable.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and open to learning other functions and participating in projects.
