Position Overview:

Barker Ross is seeking experienced Class 1 / HGV 1 drivers to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to complete store deliveries efficiently and on time. The role involves handling cages, hanging garments, containers, and trunking tasks. Trunking and container work are predominantly on night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete store deliveries efficiently and on time
  • Handle cages, hanging garments, containers, and trunking tasks
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections
  • Collaborate effectively with warehouse staff and other drivers

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 / HGV 1 driving license
  • Maximum of 6 points accepted on your license
  • No DD's/DR's
  • Previous experience in a similar driving role min 6 months
  • Flexibility to work AM and PM shifts, including weekends
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
