About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years Foundation Stage team at a dynamic and welcoming primary school in Northampton. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care, safeguarding, and well-being of young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment, promoting the social, emotional, and academic growth of children.
  • Provide refreshments and maintain high standards of hygiene, health, and safety.
  • Set up the play space, including moving furniture and play equipment, to create an engaging and stimulating environment.
  • Work within the framework of our preschool's policies and procedures, as well as the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Develop and maintain good communication with all members of the preschool and parents, ensuring a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
  • Model good practice and contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
Requirements
  • Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs of children.
  • Good behaviour management and organisational skills.
  • SEN experience.
  • DBS clearance or willingness to apply.
