Job Overview
The Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Support Coordinator to provide administrative support to the medical and nursing team within the Department of Sexual Health.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to the medical and nursing team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Assist in the maintenance of the in-house appointment and electronic patient record system, Lilie, to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Handle inquiries and requests from patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work independently and prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
- Provide assistance to reception colleagues as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient front desk experience.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level in Maths and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in administration, preferably in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
- Proficient in the use of Lilie and other relevant IT software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- A non-judgmental attitude and awareness of confidentiality, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
