About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Kare Plus Newcastle. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our customers in a range of settings, including residential homes, nursing homes, hospitals, and specialist units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high standard of care for our customers, supporting them with personal care tasks, including dressing, meal assistance, and personal hygiene needs.
  • Support customers to maintain their dignity and independence, taking into account their care needs and personal preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with other care professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Senior Healthcare Assistant within the last 5 years.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • A strong sense of pride in your work and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
  • Respectful and compassionate nature, with a willingness to go above and beyond to meet customer needs.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and nights.
  • Enhanced DBS check and driving license (desirable).
