Job Title: Client Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Manager to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing them with a full suite of accountancy support.

About the Role:
  • Manage the provision of accountancy support to a diverse client portfolio.
  • Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns.
  • Manage workflow and ensure client expectations and deadlines are met.
  • Build and retain trusted relationships with clients.
  • Oversee the performance, development, and recruitment of the team.
  • Offer commercial acumen and support the Partners in business development.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, QBE or a finalist with previous practice experience.
  • Significant accountancy experience within practice at supervisory level or above.
  • Good knowledge across accountancy systems.
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word.
  • HR and people skills.
  • An active listener.
  • Strong communication and advisory skills.
  • A proactive problem-solver.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
