Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical customer service and satisfaction in the Installation, Service, Repair, and Technical Support of automated laboratory equipment associated with Clinical and Industrial markets in the London and South East region of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, Planned Preventative Service, Reactive Repair, and Technical Support activities in various customer-facing environments, including hospitals and laboratories, and managing vehicle stock inventory efficiently and within guidelines.
  • Providing customer on-call support as part of the Service Team rota and ensuring compliance with all relevant company policies and applicable industry regulations and legislation.
  • Assisting with project work when required to ensure deadlines are achieved and maintaining knowledge levels through training courses and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence and a relevant Electrical/Electronic Engineering qualification (ONC level or above).
  • At least 3 years' experience in a comparable service or maintenance environment, with laboratory or medical equipment experience being advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills at all levels.
