Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our client's team as a Project Manager Mechanical Handling. As a key member of the Industrial Engineering department, you will be responsible for managing complex mechanical engineering projects from tendering to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Estimate and Tender Preparation: Collaborate with the team to prepare estimates and tenders, as well as functional and technical design specifications.
- Troubleshooting and Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management: Present project updates to stakeholders and management teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Qualifications: Hold a minimum HNC in mechanical engineering.
- Project Management Experience: Proven track record in managing complex mechanical engineering projects.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge and demonstrable background in the design and application of mechanical handling systems across a diverse range of large turnkey engineering projects.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
- European Machinery Directive: Understanding and implementation of the requirements for the European Machinery Directive.
