Learning Support Assistant Level 2 The Chiltern School

The Chiltern School is an Area Special School in Central Bedfordshire, providing all-through education from 3-19 years. Our experienced staff offer stimulating learning opportunities addressing the needs of pupils with moderate, severe, and profound learning difficulties. Many of our pupils have associated needs, including communication and social interaction, physical, sensory, and medical.
Our Commitment to Safety and ProtectionWe are committed to the protection and safety of our pupils and all posts within the school are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Check from the Disclosure and Barring Service. We conduct online searches about shortlisted candidates in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance to identify any incidents or concerns publicly available online.
About the RoleWe are seeking Level 2 Learning Support Assistants who can engage pupils in motivating and creative learning. As a forward-thinking 'Centre of Excellence', we put our pupils at the heart of all decision-making, taking a holistic approach to valuing the whole child. We offer flexible working hours and a supportive environment for our staff.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils with moderate to profound learning difficulties in a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
