  • As a member of our Sales team, you will focus on delivering exceptional and personalized experiences for both guests and colleagues.
  • Attention to detail is crucial; you should be adept at gathering insights from guests and conveying information accurately.
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity or in luxury sales is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, along with proficiency in relevant software such as Opera, Adeco, and Microsoft Excel.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Sales in organizing networking events, site visits, and familiarization trips.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales and the Marketing & Communications team to ensure seamless operations within the sales and marketing departments.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to optimize the presentation of the hotel’s offerings during external engagements.
  • Assist in planning sales trips, including scheduling appointments.
  • Follow up on sales inquiries and identify opportunities for business growth, building a portfolio of accounts.
  • Handle all sales inquiries professionally, ensuring timely and appropriate responses in line with One Aldwych standards.
  • Prepare contracts as needed and submit them to the Director of Sales for review.
  • Work with the Revenue team to ensure timely preparation of new rates for contract renewals.
  • Familiarity with Opera PMS/Sales & Catering is a plus.
  • Utilize Salesforce as a CRM tool to maintain accurate records of account activities and future engagements.
  • Keep Salesforce updated with activities, leads, and outcomes to ensure data integrity.
  • Provide regular updates from our U.S. representation in Salesforce.
  • Prepare reports for monthly sales meetings using Salesforce data.
  • Ensure adequate stock of promotional materials and gifts, coordinating with the Director of Sales and marketing as necessary.
  • Share weekly sales appointments with the front-of-house team to keep them informed.
  • Communicate special reservations from the sales department to operations and reservations teams with precision.
  • Maintain effective communication with front-of-house teams to ensure accurate guest preference records in Opera PMS.
  • Input new trade data into Salesforce as received from relevant departments.
