As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work closely with individual students, providing personalized support to help them overcome challenges and succeed academically and socially. Your role will involve:

* Implementing behaviour support plans tailored to each student's needs
* Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support
* Following EHC plans
* Creating a safe and supportive learning environment
* Monitoring and recording student progress
* Encouraging positive behaviour and social interactions

We are seeking candidates who are:

* Passionate about working with children and young people
* Patient, empathetic, and resilient
* Excellent communicators and team players
* Flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of students
* Previous experience in a similar role or working with children with behavioural needs is desirable but not essential
* Previous experience working in schools or a health care setting is essential
* Have a DBS on the update service, or willing to apply for one
