Microwave Quality Assurance Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Microwave Quality Assurance Specialist to become a vital part of our Operations Manufacturing team. This role focuses on the thorough inspection of our products during the manufacturing cycle to ensure they align with our stringent quality benchmarks. You will play a crucial role in detecting defects and guaranteeing adherence to industry regulations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed inspections to verify that products conform to established specifications.
  • Record any discrepancies identified during the inspection process.
  • Employ microscopes for the examination of various components.
  • Support in addressing and rectifying defects as necessary.
  • Follow ESD and FOD protocols diligently.
  • Propose enhancements to existing processes.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
  • Work collaboratively with Manufacturing and Planning teams.
  • Ensure compliance with established build procedures.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Effectively communicate with multiple departments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in inspecting wire bonding and die bonding.
  • Familiarity with hybrid microelectronic assembly processes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.
  • Understanding of inspection standards.
  • Certification in IPC610.

Desirable:

  • Experience with military and aerospace product inspections.
  • Certifications in IPC620, J-Std-001, IPC7711/21.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems.
