Job Title: Slitter Operator

Oliver Rae is currently recruiting experienced Slitters to work for our client, a metal supplier company in Dudley. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on various slitting lines, ensuring smooth running of the machinery, and reporting any issues to maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Working on slitting lines to produce high-quality metal sheets
• Ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment
• Reporting any maintenance issues to the relevant team
• Reading drawings and specifications to understand production requirements
• Operating overhead cranes to move materials and equipment

Requirements:
• Experience working with slitting lines and metal cutting machinery
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
