Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to join our team in a secondary school in Caerphilly. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for leading a classroom of learners in Key Stage 3 and 4, preparing lessons, and delivering engaging activities in line with the national curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English to students in Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Prepare and deliver lessons, including schemes of work
  • Engage learners with classroom and lab-based activities
  • Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of teaching experience
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
  • Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council)
  • References covering the last two years
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
