Location:
Liverpool office with extensive travel across central England.

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm.

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Technical Compliance Lead, this position involves overseeing the asset management operations within the CAFM system (Maximo) and leading a small team to ensure accurate asset data management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Incorporating new Level 4 assets into the system.
  • Linking maintainable assets to the appropriate SFG20 Schedules.
  • Updating Project Managers with the latest SFG20 Schedules and collaborating with the commercial team to assess any financial implications.
  • Acting as the primary contact for Level 2 contract modifications.
  • Ensuring timely action on asset change requests from operational teams.

This role necessitates collaboration with operational teams, suppliers, and clients to uphold compliance, mitigate risks, and implement changes that foster continuous improvement. You will also support operational teams during the handover of new facilities, ensuring comprehensive asset data is recorded and configured within the CAFM system.

Value Addition:
You will provide insights and recommend cost-effective solutions to technical challenges in support of compliance, focusing on:

  • Life cycle management and asset optimization.
  • Identifying trends through knowledge capture from audit activities and CAFM systems to highlight risks and prioritize rectifications.
  • Investigating and advising on potential cost and performance efficiencies.
  • Recognizing necessary process changes that impact compliance and efficient operational practices, including audit certificate management within the CAFM to ensure adherence to processes.

Travel Requirements:
This position is primarily based in Liverpool; however, site visits across central England will be necessary to verify completed work, making travel flexibility essential.

Qualifications:
A HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification is required.
A comprehensive understanding of legal and compliance standards related to Facilities Management and asset management is essential.
Proficiency in Mechanical and Electrical assets and the application of SFG20 schedules is expected.
The ability to operate with minimal supervision is crucial.
