As a key member of the Devonshire team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Global Omni-Channel solutions business. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of employees engaged in high-quality manual hand fulfillment services.
The Fulfillment team is responsible for a variety of print finishing and packing related tasks, often high volume and time intense. Your expertise will be crucial in maximizing efficiency and productivity while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Main Responsibilities:
- To read and understand job bags/works orders in order to produce the required quality of work.
- Manage and instruct employees on which components are needed to fulfill works orders.
- Assign employees to work on specific products to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Determine the most efficient way to carry out the work, formulate plans to maximize storage, and communicate plans to employees.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety practices at all times.
- Responsible for ensuring Company and Agency employees are trained and understand all work and policies.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of previous supervisory experience in a production and/or warehouse environment.
- Forklift license (useful but not essential).
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) required.
