Job Summary

The award-winning Ophthalmology Outpatient department at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our expanding Imaging team.

This exciting and challenging role involves performing visual acuity and diagnostic ophthalmic imaging on patients presenting with a variety of eye conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform visual acuity and diagnostic ophthalmic imaging on patients
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of ophthalmic imaging techniques and technologies
  • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements
  • GCSE level education or equivalent
  • Willingness to develop and acquire new skills
  • Customer care experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Keyboard skills

Candidates with experience in healthcare or ophthalmic settings are desirable, but not essential, as full induction and training will be provided.
