Job Title: Asset Optimization Specialist

Join Anglian Water as an Asset Optimization Specialist and play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Water Recycling assets and operations.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Optimization Specialist to join our team. As an Asset Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support, carrying out site audits and investigations to identify and promote business cases and effective optimization solutions for our Water Recycling assets and operations.

You will work closely with our Water Recycling operational teams, providing effective solutions to reduce operational costs and business risks. Your expertise in electrical and electronic engineering, combined with your experience in control and instrumentation, will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to Water Recycling operational teams
  • Carry out site audits and investigations to identify optimization opportunities
  • Develop and implement effective optimization solutions to reduce operational costs and business risks
  • Work with our optimization delivery engineers and third-party contractors to ensure capital investment projects are scoped, designed, and successfully completed
  • Monitor and validate projects' benefits using available data

Requirements
  • ONC/HNC in Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent
  • Good all-round experience in control and instrumentation backed up by a solid knowledge of practical electrical principles
  • Excellent communication skills with experience of building and managing productive, credible business relationships with colleagues and managers
  • Good understanding of IT systems and applications, including telemetry systems, HMIs, Scada, PLCs, and SAP
  • Understanding of commercial aspects of business risk and tactical operations
  • Understanding and experience of Water Recycling operational processes
