The Role: As a key member of our Mechanical Design Team at ECS Consultants, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mechanical systems to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop mechanical systems from client briefs, working closely with our project design team to ensure seamless delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems, including drafting drawings and undertaking calculations using IES.
- Conduct mechanical surveys and liaise with internal teams to ensure efficient production processes.
- Operate ACad and BIM systems, with a focus on REVIT MEP.
- Manage projects, including leading consultations, chairing meetings, and producing minutes.
- Undertake defects inspections and issue certification, as well as writing and producing operation and maintenance manuals.
- Produce SBem and Sap Calculations.
Requirements:
- Positive, proactive, self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable approach.
- Minimum HNC Building Services Engineering.
- Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Word.
- Travel required periodically; full driving license and access to a car are necessary.
