ECOM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior React Developer to lead our React development team and provide technical ownership in our mobile app setup. As a key member of our technology department, you will be responsible for managing a team of software engineers, playing a key role in technical direction, and promoting continuous improvement and agile values.

About the Team:

Our team is collaborative and cross-functional, valuing diversity and teamwork over individual heroics. We embrace an agile mindset and use data to inform our decisions. You will work alongside product owners, designers, testers, data engineers, and other software engineers who are passionate about using quality practices like TDD, pair programming, and DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Contribute to technical direction, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Promote continuous improvement and agile values within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve team performance.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of React Native development with experience in Typescript, Jest, and Redux.
  • Proven experience managing a team of software engineers, preferably in a React Native environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile practices and methodologies.
  • Highly desirable to have experience with popular frameworks like React, Angular, and Vue, as well as native technologies like iOS and Android.
