About the Role

Atlas Workplace Services is seeking an experienced and reliable commercial/office cleaner to join our team.

  • Part-time hours per week
  • Working week: Monday & Friday 6pm-8pm, Tuesday - Thursday 6pm-8.30pm
  • Rate: £12.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Site-Based Cleaning Operations
  • Deliver cleaning services to the highest standards, ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with the Site Cleaning Manual.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  • Dusting and cleaning of all office surfaces
  • Dusting and cleaning of all reception areas and meeting rooms
  • Cleaning of the office kitchen area
  • Cleaning of the microwaves
  • Cleaning of the refrigerators
  • Vacuuming all carpeted areas
  • Mopping of all hard floor surfaces
  • Washing of all crockery and utensils, including the filling and emptying of the dishwasher
  • Spot cleaning of any stains on the carpet
  • Ensuring the cleaning cupboard remains clean and tidy
  • Handling substances in accordance with QSHE guidelines and COSHH policy
  • Monitoring stock of products and condition of equipment, informing the Line Manager/Supervisor of any products/equipment that requires replenishing/replacing
  • Informing the Line Manager/Supervisor of any defects noticed on site
  • Conducting work safely in accordance with Company and Governmental policy
  • Observing all Client and company statutory fire and health and safety regulations
  • Managing oneself
  • Maintaining the highest professional standards, ensuring focus on a quality approach towards Clients. Managing time effectively, co-operating with all requests for service, and carrying out all reasonable management requests
Client and Customer Relationships
  • Working in the best interests of the Client and customers at all times
  • Forming positive relationships based upon trust, openness, and honesty
  • Promoting a professional, corporate, and positive image, being helpful and courteous at all times
Freedom to Act
  • Operating within agreed operational and/or management guidelines
  • Working within the limits of the Atlas Corporate Governance
  • Freedom to escalate any H&S issues to Atlas board level in the event of serious concerns and to liaise with Atlas's Head of Health & Safety
