About the Role:

As an Apprentice Childcare Practitioner, you will be responsible for working with children, organizing activities, and providing care and support under the supervision of our experienced team. You will also have the opportunity to gain a nationally recognized qualification in childcare and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with children aged 0-5 years, organizing activities and providing care and support
  • Assist with the personal and emotional needs of individual children, including changing nappies, feeding, and establishing relationships
  • Work under supervision to provide all aspects of care and support to children, ensuring they participate in day-to-day learning and play activities
  • Ensure the setting is safe, clean, and well-presented
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of work and provide a positive experience for children

Requirements:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about caring for children, has an outgoing and motivated attitude, and is committed to providing high-quality care and education. You will also need to be punctual, reliable, and willing to undergo child protection screening, including checks with previous employers and the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
