A remarkable position has opened up within a top-tier company in the facilities management field.

This organization is responsible for several high-profile maintenance contracts and is seeking a seasoned Account Director to lead one of their key contracts.

The primary objective of this role is to guarantee that both contractual and technical operations are upheld to the highest standards while ensuring compliance with contractual commitments.

The contract in question has a total value of approximately £7 million, with a dedicated team of around 30 personnel on site.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing all financial budgets, profit & loss statements, and technical matters.
  • Managing established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensuring the company's health and safety and environmental standards are maintained on site.
  • Planning and executing building shutdowns and intricate client project initiatives.
  • Upholding the company's quality assurance processes on site.
  • Recruiting new personnel as needed for site operations.
  • Facilitating the technical development of all team members, including conducting annual performance reviews.
  • Maintaining daily client relationship management.
  • Overseeing all reporting activities.
  • Identifying and managing additional business opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and boost contract revenue.
Candidates for this position should be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:
  • Degree or qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering; such as C&G, HNC, HND or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in budget management and profit & loss oversight.
  • Strong technical engineering acumen.
  • Prior experience managing large engineering teams.
  • Experience in overseeing extensive 24/7 operations.
  • Background in service delivery within high-profile buildings.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of staff and clients.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse and demanding workload.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects within budget and on schedule.
The compensation package for this role includes:
  • Competitive salary up to £90,000.
  • 25 days of annual leave.
