Job Summary

Oceaneering is seeking a highly skilled Tooling Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our ROV tooling assets, ensuring they are deployed, maintained, and performing at optimal levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the tracking and maintenance of all ROV tooling assets, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Identify and analyze low-utilization tooling and determine the best fit for future tooling locations.
  • Conduct monthly status/audit health checks of ROV tools, determining readiness and required preparatory work and costs.
  • Work with the workshop team to ensure all tools in red-tagged or demob status are being pushed for readiness on agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with commercial and project management teams to assist with allocation support and technical support for new customer design requirements and tool development.
  • Support project requirements, assist in technical project support, and provide associated support needed for front-end planning (tooling integration, front-end procedures).
  • Determine future requirements for new tooling technology and work with Product Management, Area Leadership, Commercial, and Operations to implement these efforts.
  • Analyze R&M costs and identify ROV tools for retirement and/or replacement.
  • Manage AFE, Capex, and Maintenance Spend for ROV Tooling.
  • Provide monthly report outs on System Availability, Utilization, and Location.
  • Oversight of External Rentals.
  • Track Market and missed Opportunities.
  • Provide market intel to Commercial and Fleet Manager.
  • Communicate globally lessons learned.

Requirements

  • Technical/Operational background with 5-10 years of significant relatable operational experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and PeopleSoft ERP System.
  • Must hold/maintain a valid passport and be able to obtain visas for international travel.
  • Experience evidencing a strong Business Acumen.
  • Prior Technical Experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or Management or related experience.
  • Offshore/oilfield operational experience.
