Job Summary:

Omega Resource Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a dedicated team of Electrical Engineers and Hardware Design Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of Electrical Engineers and Hardware Design Engineers to deliver high-quality electrical engineering and hardware design solutions.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure solid delivery plans are in place for all electrical engineering and hardware design work packages.
  • Provide technical direction, embracing innovation and ensuring compliance with customer specifications and legal regulations.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve electrical design processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and maintain supplier and sub-contractor relationships to ensure the availability of high-quality short-term/temporary resources to support peak demands.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing management and supervision to ensure processes, standards, and methodologies are aligned between the two departments.
  • Monitor the team's output in line with project requirements and audit the quality of work being produced to ensure best-in-class and right-first-time.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of BEng in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 7 years in a relevant technical delivery/management role.
  • Subject Matter Expert in electrical control systems.
