The Planning division is engaged in some of the most significant and high-profile projects in the region, working closely with developers, landowners, and financial institutions. While this large Consultancy boasts extensive resources and a strong reputation, the Planning division operates with its own distinct goals, contributing to the overall success of the firm. In our Bristol office, you will be part of a growing Planning team with ambitious expansion plans, mirroring the successful teams established in other major cities across the UK.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a motivated and collaborative professional with experience in either private sector consultancy or local government. You should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for knowledge sharing, and a commitment to the team's success. A solid understanding of the planning landscape, including applications, policy frameworks, and appeals, is essential. Critical thinking, project management, and negotiation skills will be crucial, along with the ability to prepare planning assessments and documentation while engaging effectively with planning authorities and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • MRTPI accreditation is preferred, though candidates nearing APC completion will be considered.
  • A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
