Main Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, direction, and development of registered nursing and allied healthcare professional staff.
  • Support the Senior Nursing Team and Service Manager to ensure the highest standard of nursing care is provided, monitored, and evaluated.
  • Interpret national and health board policies and procedures, and advise on their implementation.
  • Support processes and audits to monitor the quality of care, clinical practices, incidents/claims, and professional registration.
  • Undertake investigations of clinical incidents, complaints, and professional issues, following University Health Board Policy and acting upon findings/recommendations.
