This temporary position offers an opportunity to engage in various financial responsibilities, including the analysis of sales data, computation of weekly sales figures, and management of invoicing information. The role also involves reconciling disputed and incomplete data to optimize revenue streams.

In addition to these tasks, you will be responsible for other accounting functions such as posting journals to the Profit & Loss statement, month-end closing activities, and balance sheet reconciliations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Weekly sales data processing
  • Development of sales data sheets and identification of missing information
  • Collaboration with the operations team to rectify missing sales data
  • Communication with key clients to address data-related inquiries
  • Issuance of invoices to primary customers
  • Reconciliation of sales data against invoiced amounts
  • Management of disputed sales data and resolution of related queries
  • Provision of sales data to subcontractors as needed
  • Conducting financial analysis as required
  • Support during the monthly closing process
  • Assistance with various finance roles as necessary, including holiday cover
  • Additional tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prior experience in a finance-related administrative role
  • Proficient in Excel with advanced skills
  • AAT Qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage a diverse workload
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with accounting software is advantageous
  • Possession of a valid UK Driving License

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS:
  • 22 days of annual leave plus public holidays, increasing by one day per year up to a maximum of 25 days
  • 40-hour work week, office-based, with consideration for flexible working hours
