About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Shift Manager to join our team at Lidl. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail staff to achieve targets in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate and support your team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks to ensure smooth store operations
  • Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed and grow in their roles
  • Manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
  • Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure efficient store operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers
Requirements
  • Experience leading a team to achieve targets in a busy and dynamic environment
  • Ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team
  • Patience and a friendly manner with the ability to remain calm in any situation
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service and leading a high-performing team
  • Proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop themselves and store operations
