Job Title: Youth Group Leader
Location: Kendal, Cumbria
Salary: £23,259.60 per annum pro rata + Benefits
Contract: Part time, Permanent - 21 hours per week
Job DescriptionAbout the Role:
Oaklea's Youth groups offer young people a safe and supportive environment to explore their identity, develop decision-making skills, increase confidence, and enhance inter-personal skills. As a Youth Group Leader, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of employees and volunteers to provide group support to children and young people across various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate a team of employees and volunteers to provide group support to children and young people
- Develop and implement programs to promote young people's personal and social development
- Collaborate with colleagues to build resilience and character in young people
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for young people to explore their identity and develop life skills
Requirements:
- Enthusiastic and passionate individual with a commitment to youth development
- Ability to lead and coordinate a team of employees and volunteers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS clearance
