About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to manufacture and test bespoke control panels from empty enclosures. The successful candidate will select components, layouts, and wire up the panels following electrical drawings and instructions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently build and wire control panels following electrical drawings and instructions within specified timescales.
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspection and testing on finished control panels both on the shop floor and at customer premises in line with approved standards and customer requirements.
  • Maintain safe working practices and adhere to quality control procedures at all times.

About You

  • Previous panel wiring/panel building experience is essential. LV Switchgear, motor control principles, and control panel design experience are desirable.
  • Previous experience of interpreting electrical drawings and technical instructions.
  • Positive attitude with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to flexibly and proactively manage changing priorities and work to tight timescales.
  • Ability to work productively, efficiently, and effectively on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communications skills, able to communicate at all levels.
  • Able to work extended and/or unsocial hours to the full requirements of the role.
