About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Quality Service Recruitment. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be working in various care homes within the local area, providing high-quality care and support to elderly residents with age-related illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all care plans are followed to provide the best possible care and support to residents.
  • Undertake personal care duties, including observation checks to ensure residents' safety and hygiene.
  • Participate in activities to keep residents engaged and entertained during their stay.
  • Ensure the safe use of moving and handling equipment to assist residents with mobility.
  • Oversee the health and safety of residents under your care.
  • Undertake basic cleaning duties, adhering to cleaning rotas and safety procedures.
Vacancy Requirements
  • Full and up-to-date CV.
  • Referenceable work history, displaying at least 3 months of paid UK experience working in a care home.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 6 months or registered on the update service.
  • Mandatory training certificates relevant to the role, dated within the past 12 months.
  • Proof of COVID vaccination (beneficial but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills.
Working Hours
  • 06:45 to 14:30.
  • 14:15 to 22:00.
  • 06:45 to 22:00.
  • 22:00 to 07:00.
Pay Rate
  • £11.60 per hour for day shifts.
  • £12.00 per hour for night shifts.
