About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Disability Assessor to join our team at Reactive Recruitment. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a vital role in evaluating the needs of individuals and providing recommendations for support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals' needs, taking into account their medical history, daily living activities, and personal goals.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive records of assessments, including notes, recommendations, and progress updates.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers to ensure a holistic understanding of each individual's needs.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and healthcare teams to provide clear and concise information about assessment results and recommendations.

  • A competitive salary of £38,500 - £41,500, with a 5% retention bonus and rising to 10% quality & retention bonus (varies for part-time)

Requirements
  • A valid healthcare qualification in fields such as nursing, occupational therapy, paramedic, or physiotherapy.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with excellent record-keeping skills and the ability to maintain accurate and comprehensive records.
