**Key Responsibilities:**
- Process and reconcile purchase invoices and supplier statements with accuracy and efficiency
- Manage the purchase ledger in a timely manner, responding to queries promptly and professionally
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Assist with sales ledger tasks, including invoicing, cash allocation, and credit control
- Contribute to bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records
- Support with month-end tasks and reporting as required, maintaining compliance with company policies
**Ideal Candidate Profile:**
- Previous experience working in a similar accounting role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, with a strong understanding of financial systems
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, with a problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to tasks
