Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmic Clinical Services Manager to join our team at a leading clinic in Glasgow. As a Clinical Services Manager - Ophthalmology, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the ophthalmic service, ensuring seamless patient pathways across outpatient services, diagnostics, surgery, and follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the ophthalmic service.
  • Ensure seamless patient pathways across outpatient services, diagnostics, surgery, and follow-ups.
  • Manage and lead a team of nursing and AHP staff to maintain high standards of care.
  • Support and act as a resource for staff at all levels.
  • Develop clinical practices through innovative strategies.
  • Report to the Director of Operations and Business Development for strategic direction.

Requirements:

  • Occupational Health clearance for the specified role.
  • Relevant competence, expertise, and experience in ophthalmology.
  • Ability to comply with all relevant policies related to patient care.
  • Flexibility to manage caseloads in partnership with other partners and clinical units.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality care and maintaining patient safety.
