Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmic Clinical Services Manager to join our team at a leading clinic in Glasgow. As a Clinical Services Manager - Ophthalmology, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the ophthalmic service, ensuring seamless patient pathways across outpatient services, diagnostics, surgery, and follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the ophthalmic service.
- Ensure seamless patient pathways across outpatient services, diagnostics, surgery, and follow-ups.
- Manage and lead a team of nursing and AHP staff to maintain high standards of care.
- Support and act as a resource for staff at all levels.
- Develop clinical practices through innovative strategies.
- Report to the Director of Operations and Business Development for strategic direction.
Requirements:
- Occupational Health clearance for the specified role.
- Relevant competence, expertise, and experience in ophthalmology.
- Ability to comply with all relevant policies related to patient care.
- Flexibility to manage caseloads in partnership with other partners and clinical units.
- Dedication to delivering high-quality care and maintaining patient safety.
