**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Product Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and developing new products that meet the needs of our customers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement product development strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that new products are technically, commercially, and operationally viable.
- Analyze customer briefs and identify development opportunities to create new and innovative products.
- Liaise with suppliers to source new ingredients and materials that meet our quality and safety standards.
- Work with the purchasing team to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Manage development projects from concept to launch, ensuring that products are launched on time and within budget.
**Key Skills:**
- Strong understanding of product development processes within the food manufacturing industry.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and stakeholders.
- Food science or related degree, with a strong understanding of food trends and consumer behavior.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
