We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Home Crisis Treatment team in South East Staffordshire, based at The Friary in Lichfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing mental health crises in individuals referred to the service and supporting the delivery of safe and effective home treatment.
Main Duties- Assess and support individuals with mental health crises, working in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Participate in the delivery of the agreed aims and objectives of the service, identifying factors that may inhibit these from being achieved.
- Provide high-quality nursing care to service users, working in accordance with a wellbeing and recovery action plan.
- Implement agreed systems for monitoring the effectiveness of care, ensuring that service users receive the best possible outcomes.
- Support the education and management of junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Person SpecificationEssential Qualifications
- Registered Mental Health Nurse as defined by the Nursing and Midwifery Council, with active registration.
- Ability to use computers and other information technology as required.
- Current MPFT B6 nurse with CRHT experience.
Desirable Qualifications
- Non-medical prescribing qualification.
Essential Experience
- Extensive post-registration experience in mental health nursing.
- Previous experience of working in the community.
Skills
- Knowledge of current initiatives impacting on the service.
- Working knowledge of risk assessment and management.
- Ability to lead assessments confidently and competently.
