Job Title: Senior Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant to join our team at the British Council. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in the development and integration of digital services for the Global Alumni Programme.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful development and integration of digital services, including the identification and development of services delivered in partnership with third parties. You will work closely with international and alumni offices across the UK's higher education sector, as well as partners such as chambers of commerce, international development agencies, and corporate partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a compelling programme of products and services under development, including online events, online learning and development opportunities, and opportunities for networking and collaboration.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders within the HE sector, including universities, colleges, and other higher education institutions.
  • Identify opportunities for commercial partnership with the alumni programme and lead on the development of proposals to win commercial support.
  • Monitor the performance of the portfolio of products and services and identify opportunities for improvements in delivery and efficiencies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of the UK higher education sector and its international context.
  • A track record of development of programme offers and services to reach large audiences.
  • A track record of partnership development with higher education stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and customers.
