About the Role

Vocation Digital Limited is seeking a highly skilled Web Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our modern web properties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to transform Figma designs into responsive, functional web pages that reflect our design language and brand standards.
  2. Develop and maintain several modern, SEO-optimized web properties using static site generators such as 11ty, Hugo, or similar.
  3. Work with CMS and Git-based web development to ensure seamless version control and collaborative workflows.
  4. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in web development, continually enhancing your skill set.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of web development experience.
  2. Expert with HTML, CSS, SCSS, Bootstrap, Tailwind, Webpack (or similar), JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  3. Preference for lightweight development, avoiding heavyweight frameworks like React.
  4. Experience working with 11ty, Hugo, or similar static site builders.
  5. Experience with CMS and Git-based web development.

  4. Responsive Design: They excel at transforming Figma designs into fully responsive and functional web pages that adhere to our design language and brand standards.
  5. Lightweight Development: They prefer lightweight development approaches, avoiding heavyweight frameworks like React.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement: They effectively collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
  7. Clear Communication: They possess strong communication skills, enabling them to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
