Twenty Four Seven Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team on a temporary basis.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Class 1 Driver to operate our LGV C+E vehicles safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to designated locations, conducting daily vehicle checks, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Class 1 (LGV C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently, following all road safety regulations.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects.
  • Transport goods to designated locations as per delivery schedule.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring they are safely secured and handled with care.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs.
  • Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding any delays or issues.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 (LGV C+E) driving license.
  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Previous experience as a Class 1 Driver is preferred.
  • Good understanding of UK road regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
